I'm not quite sure if the time measurement is really correct. I have a Pentium 4 at 2,4GHz with Linux running on it and this machine usually takes between 5 and 10 minutes to complete a wu. But on this machine I had a wu that took about 2318 seconds to complete (http://www.chess960athome.org/alpha/result.php?resultid=1974639).

The problem was: I compiled a rather big program while boinc was running and working on this wu. As it runs at nice 19 it got hardly cpu time and thus it took more than 2300 seconds to complete it - but not cpu seconds. Other projects use the cpu time for the time measurement but chess960 seems to use the real time - at least the linux version.

Hehe, I would attach the Cyrix I have (running Debian), but it would not get work because it only has like 32 (or maybe 48) MB RAM :)

I found a candidate (hostid 16383):
It took 6253.422 sec (104 minutes) for one single w/u.

Great performance :-)
