** About me **
I currently live and work in Canberra Australia, but have lived and worked across many towns/cities (Sydney, Newcastle, Tamworth, Tumbarumba, Corowa, Falls Creek, Adelaide, Canberra) in 4 states (New South Wales, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory, South Australia).
Left home at 17, completed a degree in Mathematics, Computing Science. Worked as a computer programmer for a while before taking a 6 month break living and "working" in snowfields. Mid 20's decided on a life change, completed another degree this time in Medicine/Surgery. Since then have been working as a doctor in various hospitals around Australia.

I created a SETI Classic team way back in 1999 when living at a University Campus. The team slowly grew and grew as I created a few web pages, forum board, statistics pages and other web things for people to come and have a look at and enjoy. By the end of SETI Classic our team had over 600 members and was amongst the top 50 teams in the world!
We were initially called SETI Synergy, but with the leap forward into BOINC land... we changed our name to BOINC Synergy.
Now BOINC Synergy is a top 5 team in the world across all projects with over 1500 members! What was initially just a little hobby now has turned into a wonderful thing with:
- Members from over 60 countries in the world
- An active forum board to discuss BOINC, Projects and ANYTHING else!
