| I've been an "end-user" of computers since about the time the Commodore 64 came out. It was the 1st computer I ever used. In the late 80's, I graduated to the Amiga 500 and since the late 90's, IBM compatible machines, home built by my brother in law. Currently I'm running and up-graded IBM and a home built IBM compatible. I very recently got on Charter Net for cable. Much faster than my old modem that was rated for 56KPS, but could only run at a maximum of 28.8KBS. I have retired at the end of June, '06. I enjoy 1st person shoot'em ups simulations on both desk-top computers, having passed my lap-top to my wife. | |
